I have always loved beef jerky and started to experiment with making it at home about 20 years ago.
The dehydrator was crude plastic and took lots of time rotating trays until I received the desired affect.
Over the years it progressed to a bigger and more reliable one that you set and forget for six hours.
Friends started to encourage me to try to market it and just sold some around town to people I did business with.
